Senior Quality Manager
Position Summary
The Senior Quality Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving the Quality Management System registered to ISO 9001. Creates and implements quality programs and systems and is responsible for the creation, coordination, and implementation of quality initiatives. Directs inspection, facilitation, training and evaluation of quality systems and initiatives, and oversees quality improvement projects and teams. Leads multi-functional teams to resolve unusually complex problems. Interprets, executes, and manages company-wide modifications to policies and procedures. Represents Leslie Controls as prime internal and external contact on matters of area of responsibility. Creates policy deployment objectives and initiatives and utilizes Policy Deployment Process Reviews to ensure conformance to organization’s goal and initiatives and ensures timely completion.
Principal Activities
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement processes in manufacturing and programs.
- · Communicating and Relationship building with Customers
- · Identify training needs based on updates to SOP and Work Instructions.
- · Track and achieve KPIs associated with the CAPA system.
- · Support and trains problem-solving teams to identify root causes and develop corrective/preventive action plans.
- · Lead and participate in quality system, process, and product audits.
- · Assist Quality Control personnel in maintaining and updating department standards.
- · Report any problems or difficulties to the Director of Operations.
- · Supervise and coordinate activities for staff of manufacturing workers.
- · Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing areas.
- · Enforce plant-wide quality rules and regulations established as company policy.
- · Perform other duties as assigned by management.
